Life…in between
Starting on April 11, 2024, I set out to explore the US and Canada on my 2023 BMW K-1600B Grand America. Over 112 days, I explored it all. I rode endless plains, twisty mountain roads, dramatic ocean cliffs, high deserts, low deserts, mesas and soaked in the majestic beauty of the arches, canyons, glaciers and geysers of our national parks. I met tons of people. I pushed myself to ride mountain roads that scared me. I experienced every kind of weather. Best of all, I have these memories that will last a lifetime.
This site started as the story of my trip, but I think it’s more about where I think life is truly lived. For me, it’s in between things. It’s in the gaps and crevices between the professional and personal. It’s the spaces between my comfort zone and my dreams. It’s the chasm between what I know today and what I want to learn. “Life….in between” captures that.
