Day 109: Yup. That’s a Big Lake
Thunder Bay, ON, and around the north shore of Lake Superior to Sault Saint Marie, ON

It’s Sunday, July 28, 2024, and it’s Day 109 of my cross country motorcycle trip.
It was a long day, and it started off very early and very foggy. There was some weather coming in from the south and the cross breeze across the lake was pretty constant throughout the day. As the morning fog began to burn off, the temperature began to climb into the high 80s (that’s about 26°C). Not too bad, but it was getting much more humid than the temps in the high deserts.
The ride around the lake was especially pretty through the Lake Superior Provincial Park, where it was right along the shoreline. Down to Sault Saint Marie, where I spend the night. Some of my video got corrupted here, so I’ll try to fix it and post some additional pictures.
