Day 34: Hanging Out in Moab, UT

Today is Tuesday, May 14, 2024, and it’s Day 34 of my cross country motorcycle trip.

I spent the day hanging out in Moab today. No pictures. No riding. But, a nice, and hot (85 degrees) day. Breakfast at Moab Diner, and I can highly recommend the Green Chili Omelette. Then, off to check out the town. Lots of outdoors, hiking, biking, t-shirt and souvenir shops—exactly what you’d expect. I got a couple things I needed, like Techwash for my riding gear—it was getting a little ripe—and restocked some toiletries. I did some laundry and blogging back at the hotel Now, it looks like a storm is moving in.

Tomorrow, the plan is to go to Canyonlands and Capitol Reef National Parks and spend the night in Torrey, UT. The weather is looking great, and back in the mountains, it’s expected to be about 20 degrees cooler…looking forward to that.
